As a mom and educator, I take my time outside of the classroom and motherhood seriously. For me, “outside” means hopping on a plane and immersing myself in places that feeds my soul. I’ve even earned a nickname — Travel-La — lovingly given to me by my best friend Rian, and it stuck, because it fits. Puerto Rico will always be my favorite — it was the first place I experienced travel as an adult, and it sparked something in me I didn’t know I needed. Mexico and Jamaica followed close behind, giving me the chance to embrace culture, joy, and freedom in new ways. And Costa Rica? It holds a sacred place in my heart — a destination that played a powerful role in my healing journey. After becoming a mom, I genuinely thought my travel days were behind me. But that quickly changed with the support of my mother and my village. My love for travel has only grown — and continues to grow. These days, I take anywhere from 4 to 6 trips a year by planning ahead, being invited on incredible adventures, organizing family getaways, and even saying yes to a few spontaneous pop-ups (even if I like structure, I can’t turn down a chance to fly!) I’ve gotten a taste of it all — hosting my first group trip, planning unforgettable baecations, and vibing out on girls’ trips. I love the balance of adrenaline and peace that comes with travel — whether I’m jet skiing across the ocean or grounding myself in a breathtaking view. Favorite excursion? Anything on the water — jet skiing is at the top. Fun fact? I plan every trip’s wardrobe in Google Slides and still manage to fit everything into a carry-on, no matter how many days I’m gone. And yes — I absolutely want my itinerary in place before I board the plane. With MarvēLux, I get to blend my love for travel, my life as a mom-educator, and my passion for turning wanderlust into real, meaningful experiences — for you.
